How do you do training and initial startup?
An MRC consultant will provide your staff with on-site training, especially concentrating on workflow and software integration with your practice. Training on the software tools and features that help improve an ABA practice are also provided during this time.

There is also a complete library of training videos and weekly live training sessions always available for your staff. This training is included and available for your staff (and new staff) at any time.

What is HIPAA and how does it affect me?
In an effort to protect and control the use of patient's health information, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) was designed by congress to mandate guidelines to the medical community. It ensures the patients right to control access to his or her health information and guarantees privacy of medical information. These guidelines apply to all health service providers, insurance companies, pharmacies, billing services, and anyone who handles or electronically transmits health information.

What do we do about licensing requirements?
Qualified state licensing is an important part of the credentialing process for insurance payers. ABA providers receive a BCBA Certification that is usually accepted in lieu of a state issued license. In states that have ABA coverage mandates, insurance carriers are accommodating the participation of BCBA therapists.
